Journey
Our story began in Northern Cyprus in 1994 — a small family kitchen built on a simple belief: Turkish hospitality is something you should taste in every dish. Three decades of work, recipes carried between generations, and the same conviction year after year — cook the way you would for your own family.
Today, that kitchen lives on East Hastings. For the past year, Meet and Eat has been part of the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood — weekday Adana wraps, Saturday-night mezes shared across long tables, regulars we now greet by name. Our chefs grill over charcoal the way it’s been done for generations, bake stone-oven pides fresh to order, and source halal-certified meat for every dish on the menu, no exceptions.
What started as a family kitchen in 1994 is, in a way, still a family kitchen — one that now welcomes Hastings-Sunrise neighbours, downtown diners, and friends visiting from across the Lower Mainland. We don’t think of you as customers when you walk in. We think of you as guests.
